Faure Requiem from scratch

The latest in our series of concerts and recitals is the Fauré Requiem, rehearsed by local singers on the day. Come along and hear this great work which starts at our usual time of 7:30pm, with an interval for refreshments. Click here to buy tickets.

Following the success of the Mozart Requiem and Jenkins’ Armed Man, St Mary’s Ewell will be presenting a performance of Faure’s beautiful choral masterpiece ‘on the day’. This is an invitation to members of local choral societies and choirs wishing to sing with us. Scores will be available to borrow on the day.


Meet at the church at 3.00pm to register.

You may pay in advance through Eventbrite or at registration.

Rehearse from 3.15 pm

Break at 4.30pm for tea and cake

Rehearse again from 5.00pm

6pm make own arrangements for supper: Spring Tavern, Il Laghetto, King William IV, Superfish, and other restaurants are all within easy reach…or bring your own food.

Assemble in Parish Room at 7.20pm

Concert at 7.30pm

The price is £10 for performers.

If you are bringing friends, audience tickets will be available at the door for £7, Children £1.

Dress Code is black shirt and trousers/skirt.

If you have sung with us before, we look forward to you joining us again. We also look forward to welcoming new singers for this performance.
