The Tuesday Bach Concerts are free, as is the ‘Christmas Cracker’

All the Saturday Concerts have an Interval with refreshments. After the Tuesday Bach concerts, there is time for tea, cake, and a chat. All Donations and admission charges from the concerts go directly to restoration work on the 132 years old Willis Organ. Works planned for 2022 include restoration of collapsed pipework in the Swell and Great Organ reeds, repairs to the Swell Stop Machines and the keyboard ivories and piston heads.

We suggest a £10 donation, which can be Gift-Aided, to the Saturday concerts.
Children 18 and under are welcome to all our concerts for free.

If you think you might be able to help us regularly, or occasionally, with front-of-house, cameras, or refreshments, please don’t hesitate to speak to us. We would be very pleased to hear from you. Our regular helpers include Julia Mathews, Liz Divall, Mavis Makaskill, Sue Moseley, John Fallis, Timothy Tomkins, and Adrian Smith.

About our Recital Programme

Most of our recitals showcase our wonderful Father Willis pipe organ. You can read more about the organ, and we hope you will come to hear it at one of our recitals.

Sometimes, our recitals take the form of a “come and sing”, open to all. A scratch choir rehearsed and performed Handel’s Messiah in March 2012, shown above.

You can always buy tickets on the door at any of our recitals. So please come along, and we promise you a warm welcome!

You can listen to Jonathan’s organ recital recordings on his YouTube channel.
