The theme of the photo competition is ‘Harvest Joys!’. Possible topics for your photos include gathering ripe fruit, seed-heads, the talents of young musicians, or the harvest moon. Use your imagination. What can you think of which might be a harvest? You can submit up to two photos taken by you. Use your name as the photo file name and add a number (1-2 with 1 being your top entry) if you are entering more than one photo. The theme of this year’s fun community event is ‘Harvest Joys!’ The popular Kingswood Shetland Ponies and their small friends are already booked to come and there will be talks on ‘Harvesting Honey’ and ‘The Lost Lands of Ewell’. There will be craft activities for children, the bells of St Mary’s will ring out, Ewell St Mary’s Morris Men will be dancing, some young musicians will play, and the Divas Choir will sing.
