Praise@11 Book Bag Blessing

Praise@11 is our informal monthly all-age service.

This month we invite you to bring along your school bag before the new term… or your work bag, handbag or other bag. It will be blessed for the months ahead.

Patronal Festival Organ Recital
Sep 7 @ 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm

St Mary’s Ewell Patronal Festival Recital, given by Director of Music Jonathan Holmes, will include

Alfred Hollins; Concert Overture in C minor,
Thalben Ball: Variations on a theme by Paganini for Organ Pedals,
Bach: Toccata and Fugue in F,
Mendelssohn: Overture to St Paul,
Reger: Choral Fantasie and Fugue on ‘Wachet Auf” Op 52/2.

All proceeds will go to the Arthur Mathews Organ Fund in aid of the Willis Organ at St. Mary’s. Refreshments are served during the interval. Information about tickets etc is here

Patronal Festival Sung Eucharist
Sep 8 @ 10:00 am – 11:15 am

We celebrate our patronal festival on 8 September, the Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary, as our church is dedicated to St Mary.

The celebrant and preacher will be the Bishop of Guildford. It will be the Rt Revd Andrew Watson’s first visit to St Mary’s. The service will be followed by refreshments.

All-in and Club Sandwich
Sep 8 @ 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm

All-in is our monthly service for all ages. It is very inclusive, with music, craft, songs and activities. It’s followed at 6pm by our group for 7-12s, “Club Sandwich”, which goes on till 6:45pm.

Toddle Up!
Sep 15 @ 11:00 am – 11:30 am

Our monthly service especially for toddlers and their families is short and very informal. Followed by refreshments.
