St Mary’s Ewell during the COVID-19 Pandemic
Our main service in church at the moment is online only at 9:30am on Sundays -to watch live at www.facebook.com/stmarysewell/live.
Church is open on Thursday evenings, 5:30pm-6:30pm for private prayer. Please only come to church if you do not have COVID symptoms and are not isolating. If you are in a more vulnerable category please think carefully about what it is right for you to do. Face coverings must be worn unless exempt.
For information about all of the above, and online resources, telephone ministry, help for those in need in the community, and more, see our “Online and Phone Ministry” page, which is kept updated..
Our income has decreased very significantly during the COVID emergency. If you are able to support St Mary’s, your donation would be gratefully received. Click here to give via Virgin Giving. Or you can give by text. Text EWELL 3 to 70085 to donate £3. Texts cost your donation plus one standard rate message. Change the 3 to the amount you’d like to give, up to EWELL 20 to give £20.
We have left the rest of the website as is, showing the range of activities and services we offer in normal times. We will be resuming these activities only very gradually, as and when it is safe and permitted to do so.
Welcome to our website! St Mary’s Ewell is a friendly Christian church. We are the local Church of England parish, and we are here for everyone in the area who would like to belong.
A lot goes on at St Mary’s, so this website is packed with information. We hope you can find what you are looking for. Please do get in touch if you have any questions about what we do or how we can help. We also hope to welcome you in person at a service or event in the near future.
We offer a whole range of different Sunday services, from traditional & choral to the more informal aimed especially at families. See “Every Sunday” and “Coming Up” in the right hand column of this page for information about what services are coming up. There are also usually many other community events going on, from concerts, to children’s activities, to social events. All are welcome!
