From 1 December, different letters – ‘the clues’ – will be displayed in the window or inside 22 local shops and on the outside notice boards of St Mary’s Church and Christ Church, Ewell. Each shop and church will have a number from 1 to 24 designed by 1st Ewell Village (St Mary’s) Brownies. Every child wishing to take part has a special booklet to complete by writing next to each number the matching letter or ‘clue’. St Mary’s Church will have number 24.
