The theme of this year’s fun community event is ‘Harvest Joys!’ The popular Kingswood Shetland Ponies and their small friends are already booked to come and there will be talks on ‘Harvesting Honey’ and ‘The Lost Lands of Ewell’. There will be craft activities for children, the bells of St Mary’s will ring out, Ewell St Mary’s Morris Men will be dancing, some young musicians will play, and the Divas Choir will sing. On 11 May you are invited to join St Mary’s Parish Retreat at The Abbey in Chertsey. Our venue is a large Georgian house, with a comfortable sitting room, a dining room, a TV room, a garden room and a quiet room. The house has a large walled garden with plenty of seats and is a member of the Quiet Garden Movement.   You may wish to come along to enjoy the company of other members of St Mary’s or to take time out on your own.
